What if…
peace was not the absence of conflict, but something we actively built together, every day?

Schools are not neutral spaces.

Every structure, every routine, every conversation either builds peace or quietly erodes it. Across India, educators and parents sense that academic outcomes alone cannot be the measure of a school.

Anxiety is rising. Bullying persists.
Children on the margins of caste, disability, gender, economic class and other identities continue to be underserved.

India’s NEP 2020 lays the foundation for socio-emotional learning and holistic development. What is still missing is a shared language, a committed community, and practical pathways to turn that intention into culture.

This gathering is not about adding one more thing to an educator’s plate.
This is the plate.

What this gathering is for

01.
Building Community

Picture
Connect with educators across schools and systems who share a belief that schools can do better.
A room for people who are asking similar questions, experimenting with change and looking for peers.

02.
Construct Shared Meaning

Picture
Co-create a living understanding of what peaceful schools look like and why this conversation is urgent now.
Move beyond a single definition of a “peaceful school” and create space for different lived experiences, perspectives and contexts.

03.
Share Practical Ideas

Picture
Exchange concrete tools and stories that participants can take back to their classrooms and staffrooms.
The emphasis is on usable learning— what can be tried, adapted and carried into everyday school life.
